I Don't Understand The Majority Of The Human Race
It's true. You're all confusing as fuck and I think you know that and the reason I think you know that is because you spend the majority of your time, like me, trying to sort your own life out while somehow at the same time staring at everyone else going "I don't even have the time to tell you how fucking depressing you are". However it is this exact reason that leads me to writing this particular post, sort out what is important in your life. If what is important to you is just pretending that your life is one neverending party and that everything is fantastic, that you in no way ever need any kind of emotional help apart from when pissed out of your mind crying while vomiting on the pavement screaming about how you really did love him, then fine. It doesn't strike me as the most healthy form of self preservation but if keeps you alive and happy then so be it, just stay away from me. If however you are the kind of person that understands we are all just vulnerable little human beings forever striving for that next epiphany that may somehow improve us then good on you, you're fine by me. We blunder through life at such a ridiculously quick speed so why the fuck do people concern themselves with the shit they concern themselves with? My earlier comment attacking young pissed up girls was a little harsh. We all have those embarassing drunk moments where we think our emotions at that exact time matter more than anyone elses, we all do and that's fine. But we should all also have discussions with others and ourselves about things that matter. I understand that "things that matter" can differ massively from person to person but I also think that if you're the kinda person who is only ever gunna care about how they look and what they're doing this weekend, then you're a pretty empty human being and that this will be an incredibly quick and painful realisation for you, if you ever realise at all.

Dubstep
The most pointless form of music known to man that I hope to god is just a fad. I don't really care if it takes alot of technical ability to make Dubstep because it's still fucking awful. Just because something takes alot of effort to make doesn't mean it's worthwhile in any way shape or form. Music is a beautiful artform and it's being desecrated by this shoddy bollocks that people are pumping into the music industry. Whether it be modern pop or dubstep there's so much shite cluttering up society music wise it almost makes you sick to be a massive fan of music. "Dubstep - It's so filthy, it's shit."

Start Doing Something
I am a very lazy person. So lazy I'm kind of just doing nothing with my life. I'm in the first year of my degree but I should get a job. I should get a job and from that I can travel abroad and go loads of different places I want to go to. It starts tonight. I'm gunna actually make sure I fucking do something with my life.

First Seminar Back
After an admittedly reluctant walk to university I've ended up having what is arguably one of the best seminars I've ever had. The teacher's fantastic and I really think this particular module is going to help me loads with what I want to do in life. Sometimes the best days come after you least expect them to.

I Gotta Whole Lotta Love For This Man

Fucking hell that pun is awful but my point still stands. Robert Plant is the perfect example of a man who has not only created some of the greatest music ever but who also accepts limitations with age. His passion for music comes through in everything he does and the desicions he has made and continues to make throughout his music career highlight his ability to not rush into something he may later regret.
Here's a short interview that got me thinking about how much I'm inspired by this guy: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/general_music_news/tony_blair_stops_robert_plant_from_writing.html
The First Post Of Many
"Success requires ten thousand hours of practise"
The above quote is just one of two main reasons I've started this blog. At the still youthful age of 18 my life is set ahead of me like hundreds of ridiculously windy roads, of which I must choose just one to lead me to happiness, which is a terrifying way of looking at it and yet the most accurate way I can describe it. My options are still wide open and this blog is just a way of keeping me writing in a non acadmic sense to keep it in my mind. Therefore this blog will (hopefully) end up being full of critique regarding the world we inhabit and reviews of music, television, film etc. The second reason I've started this blog is to be able to have a place to rant ("Vent My Spleen" if you will) and give the people I love a rest from the constant nagging and shouting their ears recieve whenever I'm even slightly ticked off by the smallest things. Whether this blog will ever be read by anyone remains to be seen but in the meantime, this is just for me.
